Explosive Tesla Crash Leaves One Dead and Three Injured

A crash on Sunset Strip involving a Tesla Model X has led to the death of one of the passengers. The LAPD believes the crash occurred at 2:30 AM on Monday, April 3, 2023. The crash is believed to have been the result of high-speed driving and a loss of control of the car. The car crashed into a lamppost and a palm tree. The explosion damage initially made it difficult to identify the vehicle.

One passenger was declared dead at the scene, one passenger was hospitalized under critical conditions, and one passenger was hospitalized under stable conditions. The driver was picked up from the burning wreckage and later brought to the hospital.
