Bike Accident
A 73-year-old cyclist was pronounced dead from injuries sustained after being struck by a massive Ford pickup truck. The victim, identified as Fountain Valley resident Dac Them Kieu, was riding his bike on a Huntington Beach crosswalk at 6:57 a.m Tuesday, July 5 when the incident occurred.
The 65-year-old driver of the vehicle has remained cooperative in this investigation. At this time, police do not believe drugs or alcohol were a factor in the bike accident.
