Fatal Accident in Santa Springs, CA
A man has died after a Wednesday morning multi-vehicle car crash on the I-5 Freeway in Santa Fe Springs, California, CBS News reports.
The man, identified as 30-year-old Christopher Prudente from Cypress, was ejected from the vehicle he was inside of due to the accident, which reportedly occurred around 2 A.M. near Carmenita Road. At least one of the vehicles involved in the collision was a semi-truck, and one of the vehicles was overturned.
5 Freeway was closed for several hours Wednesday morning, but has since reopened. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
