On Tuesday, September 11, 2023, a white BMW containing three men drove through a stop sign in Baldwin Hills and caused a multi-vehicle crash. Seven people were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The crash, which was caught by a Tesla dashcam, flipped another car and sent it flying into the front yard of a house, barely missing collision with the house.
The BMW driver was arrested at the scene while the two passengers fled the scene. One was later found at a nearby metro and was arrested. Police K-9s found the third man hiding in a building under construction.
